Análisis audiovisual de la serie testimonial 'Mujer e Ingeniería' del programa Mentoring Transformador de la Universidad Autónoma del Perú de Mayo 2025 - Agosto 2025 en el Perú

Abstract

El presente trabajo realiza un análisis audiovisual de la serie testimonial de tres videos, "Mujer e Ingeniería," producida para el Programa Mentoring Transformador de la Universidad Autónoma del Perú, con el fin de comprender las estrategias narrativas y técnicas utilizadas para visibilizar y celebrar las trayectorias de las alumnas en un campo masculinizado.

El análisis se estructura en dos ejes principales: el Análisis Narrativo y el Lenguaje Audiovisual. A nivel narrativo, se identifican elementos macro como el legado familiar, el conflicto, la adversidad de género y la intervención y transformación (la doble mentoría familiar e institucional). A nivel micro, se emplean la narrativa nostálgica (mediante flashbacks y fotos antiguas) y la narrativa testimonial para generar conexión emocional, credibilidad y persuasión en el espectador.

Por otro lado, el lenguaje audiovisual empleado se centra en generar intimidad, credibilidad y empoderamiento. Esto se consigue mediante el manejo de la luz y la selección de planos, que buscan establecer una conexión y autenticidad con el espectador. Asimismo la dirección de arte refuerza la legitimidad profesional utilizando locaciones reales, un vestuario dual y utilería pertinente. En cuanto al sonido, la música sutil y una voz en off auténtica maximizan la credibilidad y la emoción.

Finalmente, se exponen los retos técnicos enfrentados en la producción y las soluciones implementadas mediante el uso estratégico de tecnología, B-roll de archivo y técnicas de postproducción para mantener la calidad y coherencia del mensaje institucional.

The present work conducts an audiovisual analysis of the three-video testimonial series, "Mujer e Ingeniería", produced for the Transforming Mentoring Program of the Universidad Autónoma del Peru, with the aim of understanding the narrative and technical strategies used to visualize and celebrate the trajectories of female students in a male-dominated field.

The analysis is structured around two main axes: Narrative Analysis and Audiovisual Language. At the narrative level, macro elements are identified, such as family legacy, conflict, gender adversity, and intervention and transformation (the dual mentoring of family and institution). At the micro level, nostalgic narrative (through flashbacks and old photographs) and testimonial narrative are employed to generate emotional connection, credibility, and persuasion in the viewer.

On the other hand, the audiovisual language used focuses on generating intimacy, credibility, and empowerment. This is achieved through the use of light and the selection of shots, which seek to establish a connection and authenticity with the viewer. Likewise, the art direction reinforces professional legitimacy by utilizing real locations, dual wardrobe, and appropriate props. As for the sound, subtle music and an authentic voice-over maximize credibility and emotional impact.

Finally, the technical challenges faced during production and the solutions implemented through the strategic use of technology, archival B-roll footage, and post-production techniques are presented to maintain the quality and consistency of the institutional message.
