Propuesta de mejora del proceso de fabricación de marbetes para incrementar el OEE aplicando Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), Poka Yoke y Mantenimiento Productivo Total (TPM)

Abstract

En el rubro industrial de marbetes se busca optimizar los procesos, disminuir los costos sin afectar la calidad del producto terminado y mejorar la eficiencia operativa de todo el proceso productivo.

En el capítulo inicial, se muestran indicadores sobre el comportamiento de las industrias del papel a nivel internacional y local. Seguidamente, en este trabajo de investigación, se desarrolla el marco teórico donde se detallan algunas herramientas y estrategias que se utilizarán.

Posteriormente, en el capítulo dos, se argumenta con detalle la problemática de esta investigación, un bajo OEE de uno de los equipos del proceso de fabricación de marbetes sin impresión. Asimismo, se evidencia en el árbol de problemas las causas y motivos que abarca el problema principal como la baja disponibilidad y rendimiento que afecta el OEE de la máquina Flexto 2. También, se precisa los objetivos específicos y el objetivo principal que van vinculados al árbol de problemas.

Más adelante, en el tercer capítulo, se detalla y vinculan los casos de éxitos que justifican la implementación y ayudan a presentar el modelo de solución. En este modelo se explica de manera específica la implementación. De igual manera, el modelo tiene definido los indicadores y resultados AS IS y TO BE, el presupuesto proyectado para la implementación y el cronograma de ejecución del proyecto.

En el capítulo cuatro, se valida el modelo mediante simulación. Adicionalmente, se incorpora el análisis del flujo económico y la evaluación de impactos económicos y no económicos.

Por último, se presentan las conclusiones del trabajo de suficiencia profesional y se formulan las recomendaciones que orienten futuras investigaciones, consolidando los resultados alcanzados y proponiendo mejoras para el proceso investigado.

In the label manufacturing sector, the goal is to optimize processes, reduce costs without compromising the quality of the finished product, and improve the operational efficiency of the entire production process.

The initial chapter presents indicators on the performance of the paper industry at both the international and local levels. This is followed by the development of the theoretical framework, detailing the engineering tools and strategies to be used in this research.

The second chapter then elaborates on the research problem: the low Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of one of the pieces of equipment in the unprinted label manufacturing process. The problem tree identifies the causes and reasons behind the main problem, including the low availability and performance that negatively impact the OEE of the Flexto 2 machine. The specific objectives and the main objective, which are linked to the problem tree, are also defined.

The third chapter details and connects the successful case studies that justify the implementation and help present the solution model. This model specifically explains the implementation process. Similarly, the model defines the AS-IS and TO-BE indicators and values, the projected budget for implementation, and the project execution schedule.

In Chapter Four, the model is validated through simulation. Additionally, an analysis of the economic flow and an evaluation of non-economic impacts are included.

Finally, the conclusions of the professional competency work are presented, and recommendations are formulated to guide future research, consolidating the results achieved and proposing improvements for the investigated process.
