El presente documento es una investigación de un Centro de Interpretación del Ecosistema Manglar ubicado en la ciudad de Tumbes. Un centro de interpretación es una infraestructura en el cual se busca conservar, divulgar y educar acerca del patrimonio de índole cultural o natural. Asimismo, se busca revelar el sentido del objeto interpretado. El manglar es uno de los ecosistemas más importantes a nivel global ya que sus características y propiedades biológicas permiten enriquecer la flora y fauna del borde costero de Tumbes. A través del presente documento se propone un nuevo equipamiento que impulse al público a sensibilizarse con el ecosistema manglar. Por este motivo, para lograr satisfactoriamente el proceso de interpretación se ha escogido diseñar el proyecto bajo los criterios de la arquitectura biofílica debido a que está relacionada con el bienestar y desarrollo cognitivo de las personas mediante el uso de elementos de la naturaleza.This document is an investigation of a Mangrove Ecosystem Interpretation Center located in the city of Tumbes. An interpretation center is an infrastructure in which it is sought to conserve, disseminate and educate about the heritage of a cultural or natural nature. Likewise, it seeks to reveal the meaning of the interpreted object. The mangrove is one of the most important ecosystems globally since its characteristics and biological properties allow enriching the flora and fauna of the coastal edge of Tumbes. Through this document, a new equipment is proposed that encourages the public to become aware of the mangrove ecosystem. For this reason, to successfully achieve the interpretation process, it has been chosen to design the project under the criteria of biophilic architecture because it is related to the well-being and cognitive development of people through the use of an element of nature.
