K-Lab: community and artistic experience in the K-pop eraAbstract
El presente estudio tiene como propósito evaluar la viabilidad del proyecto K-Lab: Comunidad y Experiencia Artística en la Era del K-pop, una propuesta de formación artística inspirada en la industria musical de Corea del Sur. K-Lab se enfoca en ofrecer programas especializados en canto, baile y performance que integren técnica, idioma y cultura, orientados a jóvenes interesados en el K-pop y la ola Hallyu, con workshops temáticos complementarios, que fomenta el desarrollo técnico y expresivo junto con el sentido de comunidad y pertenencia. La investigación analiza el entorno sociocultural y educativo de Lima Metropolitana, poniendo en evidencia una creciente demanda por experiencias formativas vinculadas a la cultura coreana contemporánea. Para ello, se plantean estrategias de gestión, marketing y operación centradas en la accesibilidad, la innovación pedagógica y la sostenibilidad económica, buscando consolidar la identidad de K-Lab como espacio artístico y cultural diferenciado. Asimismo, incluye el análisis económico y financiero del proyecto, para confirmar su factibilidad y potencial de crecimiento en el mercado juvenil. Finalmente, se presentan conclusiones y recomendaciones orientadas a la ejecución del proyecto, destacando su aporte al fortalecimiento de los vínculos culturales entre Corea y Latinoamérica, y su valor como alternativa educativa que combina arte, cultura y emprendimiento.The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of K-Lab: Community and Artistic Experience in the K-pop Era, an artistic training project inspired by the South Korean Music Industry. K-Lab focuses on offering specialized singing, dance, and performance programs that integrate technique, language, and culture, tailored to young people interested in K-pop and the Hallyu wave, with complementary thematic workshops, fostering technical and expressive development alongside a sense of community and belonging. The research analyzes the sociocultural and educational environment of the Lima Metropolitan Area, highlighting a growing demand for educational experiences linked to contemporary Korean culture. To this end, management, marketing, and operational strategies are proposed, centered on accessibility, pedagogical innovation, and economic sustainability, with the aim of consolidating K-Lab’s identity as a distinctive artistic and cultural space. It also includes an economic and financial analysis of the project to confirm its feasibility and growth potential in the youth market. Subsequently, conclusions and recommendations geared toward project implementation are presented, highlighting its contribution to strengthening cultural ties between Korea and Latin America and its value as an educational alternative that combines art, culture, and entrepreneurship.
