Ante el cambio de modalidad de estudios de presencial a virtual, los jóvenes universitarios han experimentado problemas asociados con la dependencia emocional, situación que puede ser contrarrestada por la resiliencia. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación entre dependencia emocional y resiliencia en universitarios limeños que retornan a clases presenciales. El estudio tuvo un diseño correlacional simple, con una muestra de 118 universitarios limeños. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron la Escala de Dependencia Emocional – EDE y la Escala de Resiliencia. Los resultados evidenciaron un nivel medio de dependencia emocional y resiliencia. Además, se observó que la relación entre ambas variables fue opuesta y estadísticamente significativa (rho=-.444, p< .001). Por otro lado, se encontraron diferencias en la dependencia emocional, en el factor miedo a la soledad, de acuerdo al sexo; y en los factores ansiedad de separación, modificación de planes y la expresión límite; respecto a los años de estudios.Faced with the change of study modality from face-to-face to virtual, young university students have experienced problems associated with emotional dependence, a situation that can be counteracted by resilience. The objective of the present study was to determine the relationship between emotional dependence and resilience in university students from Lima who return to face-to-face classes. The study had a simple correlational design, with a sample of 118 university students from Lima. The instruments used were the Emotional Dependence Scale - EDE and the Resilience Scale. The results showed a medium level of emotional dependence and resilience. In addition, it was observed that the relationship between both variables was opposite and statistically significant (rho=-.444, p< .001). On the other hand, differences were found in emotional dependence, in the factor fear of loneliness, according to sex; and in the factors separation anxiety, plan modification and borderline expression; with respect to the years of studies.
