NUEVA SEDE PARA LA ESCUELA NACIONAL DE BELLAS ARTES EN CERCADO DE LIMA

Abstract

El presente proyecto es la Nueva sede para la Escuela Nacional Superior de Bellas Artes (ENSABAP) ubicada en el distrito de Lima. Se desarrolla para poder crear espacios que motiven al estudiante a estudiar las artes, brindando la infraestructura necesaria. Se emplaza al costado del monumento histórico “Hospicio Bartolomé Manrique” y a pocos metros de la Plaza Francia, por lo que se tomó en cuenta el entorno inmediato y sus alturas. Como aporte urbano, se propone una regeneración del Jirón Rufino que colinda con la Plaza Francia ya que actualmente la zona se encuentra en muy mal estado. Se buscó dar prioridad a los peatones con una propuesta de ensanchamiento de veredas que va de la mano con el plan maestro de Lima. Se propone la nueva sede sirva como motivo de activación y animación de la zona, con el uso de sus instalaciones para exposiciones de arte, tiendas de arte y actividades extracurriculares. Así mismo, permitiendo que las casonas colindantes cuenten con un zócalo comercial que pueda servir a la escuela.

The present project is the New Headquarters for the National School of Fine Arts (ENSABAP) located in the district of Lima. It is developed to create spaces that motivate students to study the arts, providing the necessary infrastructure. It is located next to the historical monument “Hospicio Bartolomé Manrique” and a few meters from Plaza Francia, so the immediate surroundings and its heights were taken into account. As an urban contribution, a regeneration of the Jirón Rufino that borders Plaza Francia is proposed since the area is currently in very poor condition. An attempt was made to give priority to pedestrians with a proposal to widen sidewalks that goes hand in hand with Lima's master plan. The new headquarters is proposed to serve as a reason for activation and animation of the area, with the use of its facilities for art exhibitions, art stores and extracurricular activities. Likewise, allowing the adjacent mansions to have a commercial base that can serve the school.
