La carga laboral afecta a cientos de trabajadores a nivel mundial, aumentando la despersonalización y el agotamiento emocional, y disminuyendo el desempeño, satisfacción y la autoeficacia profesional. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo mediante el modelamiento de ecuaciones estructurales analizar la relación de autoeficacia y carga laboral en trabajadores de una empresa de alimentos de Lima Metropolitana. La muestra incluyó a 211 participantes (61.4% de mujeres), los trabajadores tienen una edad media de 31.5 años, con edades entre 19 y 57 años (DE = 9.0). Se aplicaron los instrumentos de la escala de autoeficacia profesional (AU-10) y la escala de carga de trabajo (ECT). Los resultados confirman la relación entre la autoeficacia profesional y carga de trabajo (χ2(102) = 170.31, p < .001, CFI = .908, RMSEA = .056, SRMR = .066). Los presentes resultados contribuyen a una mayor comprensión de la relación entre las variables de estudio.Workload affects hundreds of workers worldwide, increasing depersonalization and emotional exhaustion, and decreasing performance, satisfaction, and professional self- efficacy. This study aims to analyze the effect of workload on professional self-efficacy in workers at a food company in Metropolitan Lima. The sample included 211 participants (61.4% women). The workers had a mean age of 31.5 years, ranging in age from 19 to 57 years (SD = 9.0). The Professional Self-Efficacy Scale (AU-10) and the Workload Scale (ECT) were applied. The results confirm the effect of workload on professional self-efficacy (χ2(102) = 170.31, p < .001, CFI = .908, RMSEA = .056, SRMR = .066). The present results contribute to a better understanding of the relationship between the study variables.
