Companies integrate disruptive technological innovations to strengthen the adaptability of their supply chains in constantly transforming business ecosystems. However, the underlying principles through which these technologies influence supply chain agility remain underexplored. Through a literature review, this article identifies tools of Supply chain 5.0 and factors that drive the adoption of a modern Leagile system. The Fuzzy Hierarchical Analysis Process (FAHP) methodology was applied to select the Supply chain 5.0 criteria with the greatest potential for adaptability, resilience, and productivity, considering the specific characteristics and needs of the sector, and to define the most relevant criteria to ensure a Leagile supply chain. The findings confirm that Cyber Physical System Integration, Multi-scale simulation with digital twins, and hyperpersonalization with Artificial Intelligence are the tools that stand out in this context. Also, variability in the products, Volatile demand and Involvement Supplier the factors that most influence the adoption of the Leagile system. The results provide essential guidelines to facilitate the efficient adoption of Supply chain 5.0 tools, considering the critical factors for Leagile supply chain management.Type

Organic coffee supply chain source process integration: A Peruvian caseRamos, Edgar; Mesia, Ron; Matos, Daniel; Ruiz, Sara (ExcelingTech, 2019-01-01)This research analyzes the Peruvian organic production coffee industry, the relationship between Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Supply Chain Integration (SCI) concerning the performance of the Cooperatives and the Coffee Associations in Junin Region of Peru. It also analyzes the current scenario of the Coffee Sector and the participation of the Supply Chain (SC) in the processing and distribution of Organic Coffee in Junin, Peru. A diagnosis was made to the certified organizations from the market. The diagnosis and the surveys indicated that they do not have a correct flow of information, shared goals and objectives, strategic decisions, and sourcing materials among the different parties demonstrating the lack of interrelationship among the members. The final objective of this research is to improve the competitiveness of these organizations through the increase in the performance of the SC, for which a model of supply chain integration is proposed.Acceso restringido temporalmente -
Development of supply chain quality management in peruvian blueberry companies: A case study in Cañete, PeruRamos, Edgar; Yanayaco, Jean Pierre; Hinostroza, Tamy; Mesia, Ron (ExcelingTech, 2019-01-01)The keen research objective is to develop a quality system in the Supply Chain Management geared to the agribusiness sector. The Supply Chain Quality Management (SCQM) proposed for blueberry companies must improve their operational performance. This study includes micro and small agricultural enterprises located in the Cañete region of Peru, where thanks to the interviews and questionnaires were possible to determine the critical practices, which will be applied in the agribusiness sector. The literature review found to enrich the methodical procedures that are essential practices of the innovative SCQM model. The research shows that the critical practices to develop quality management in this sector are Customer Relationship Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Process Management, and Human Resources Management. This research turns out to be utterly innovative because the use of the recently proposed technique of Quality Management into the Supply Chain combined with the best practices will lead to operational improvement andother qualitative advantages. Finally, the knowledge embedded in SCQM applied to small blueberry companies in an emerging country can provide added value to management to increase the competitiveness of the agribusiness sector.Acceso restringido temporalmente -
Supplier relationship management process assessment in food supply chains: an empirical study in coffee supply chains from PeruSanchez, Rajiv; Reyes, Bryan; Ramos, Edgar; Coles, Phillip S. (nderscience Publishers, 2023-01-01)Supplier relationship management (SRM) best practices can improve supply chain performance and create competitive advantages by increasing customer value. The SRM process in food supply chains (FSC) enable closer customer relationships, promote trust and avoid potential problems, and enhance cooperation and problem solving, but SRM process studies in FSCs have been limited. The purpose of this paper is to measure and evaluate the SRM process in FSCs. Through a literature review and inputs from practitioners, the SRM process at three Peruvian coffee centres were evaluated. The results show that in order to successfully improve the SRM processes changes must be implemented. This paper contributes to better understanding of the SRM process within the Peruvian coffee supply chain.Acceso restringido temporalmente
