Organizational communication plays a pivotal role in companies, as maintaining healthy and positive communication fosters high levels of employee engagement, which, in turn, contributes to a stable and productive work environment. In the Peruvian context, there is a notable lack of research exploring the relationship between organizational communication and engagement in textile companies, particularly among operators. This gap in the literature may be due to companies prioritizing other factors, often neglecting this essential element of workplace well-being. Consequently, the aim of this study was to identify the relationship between organizational communication and employee engagement in private textile companies in Peru. A correlational design was employed to examine the relationship between the two variables. The sample consisted of 165 operators from textile companies in the Lima Metropolitan area, all of whom were over 18 years of age and had been employed for at least six months. The key findings of this research indicate that organizational communication positively influences employee engagement. Additionally, it was shown that an employee’s length of tenure does not necessarily correlate with higher levels of engagement.
