Abstract
El italiano Carlo Rubbia fue nombrado Profesor Honorario de la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Obtuvo el Nobel de Física en 1984 por descubrir los bosones W y Z en el CERN, donde fue director general (1989–1993). También enseñó en Harvard y promovió la cooperación científica internacional. Fue nombrado senador vitalicio en Italia en 2013.
