Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that overlays virtual elements, such as images and data, onto the real world, offering an interactive experience in real-time. In the context of video games, AR provides an immersive experience by combining the digital world of games with the player's physical environment, allowing for a more dynamic and engaging interaction. This thesis project aims to explore and leverage AR capabilities in the creation of a Pokémon battle video game. Through the use of Ensemble Interactions, each Pokémon Trainer will use their tablet to interact and control the battles, which will be displayed on a Smart TV. This approach will enable a collaborative and unique gaming experience, where players can experience the thrill of being Pokémon trainers in a realistic and shared environment. Copyright 2025.Type
