Centro Cultural de Artes Plásticas y Danzas en Cajamarca

Abstract

A través del tiempo, se han realizado pequeñas exposiciones en casonas del centro histórico, que, si bien es cierto, ha puesto en valor a dichos edificios, pero se necesita un gran equipamiento público con las características de diseño necesarias para enaltecer el legado artístico de la ciudad. Por otro lado, los talleres artísticos de aprendizaje se han desarrollado en tipologías domésticas incompatibles con espacios de enseñanza, las cuales son casas de los mismos maestros artistas, incapaces de acoger la demanda de niños y jóvenes interesados en el oficio de la pintura y escultura. Es por ello que el proyecto del Centro Cultural de Artes Plásticas y Danzas nace con el objetivo de atender las necesidades culturales identitarias de la población cajamarquina, debido a que no existe una tipología adecuada que acoja el gran legado artístico de Cajamarca, que se manifiesta en la pintura, escultura y danza. En este trabajo de investigación se establecerán criterios de diseño, que permitirán crear un equipamiento público capaz de acoger exposiciones artísticas permanentes y temporales para el deleite de todos los cajamarquinos y visitantes forasteros. Asimismo, se crearán aulas que acogerán los talleres de enseñanza de pintura, escultura, y danza en donde los estudiantes podrán aprender de forma dinámica entre espacios abiertos y cerrados. Finalmente, el Proyecto estará ubicado en el Gran Complejo Qhapac Ñan, el cual funciona como una nueva centralidad urbana en donde se realizan actividades recreativas, culturales, y gubernamentales. El Centro Cultural de Artes Plásticas y danzas se consolidará como un hito en este complejo urbano.

Over time, small exhibitions have been held in large houses in the historic center, which, while it is true, has given value to these buildings, but a large public facility with the necessary design features is needed to enhance the artistic legacy of the city. On the other hand, the artistic learning workshops have been developed in domestic typologies incompatible with teaching spaces, which are the homes of the master artists themselves, unable to accommodate the demand of children and young people interested in the craft of painting and sculpture. That is why the project of the Cultural Center of Plastic Arts and Dances was born with the objective of meeting the cultural identity needs of the population of Cajamarca, due to the fact that there is no adequate typology to accommodate the great artistic legacy of Cajamarca, which is manifested in painting, sculpture and dance. In this research work, design criteria will be established to create a public facility capable of hosting permanent and temporary art exhibitions for the delight of all Cajamarcans and foreign visitors. Likewise, classrooms will be created to house workshops for teaching painting, sculpture, and dance where students will be able to learn in a dynamic way between open and closed spaces. Finally, the Project will be located in the Great Qhapac Ñan Complex, which functions as a new urban center where recreational, cultural, and governmental activities will take place. The Cultural Center for Plastic Arts and Dance will be consolidated as a landmark in this urban complex.
