El presente trabajo de investigación consiste en la aplicación de la arquitectura vernácula local para el diseño de una escuela pública de educación básica regular en Iquitos, Loreto, tiene por objetivo brindar a la región un centro educativo público en buenas condiciones, ofreciendo una educación integral y una infraestructura adaptada a las necesidades de los usuarios y el entorno específico de emplazamiento. Los criterios de diseño se determinan a partir de la necesidad de generar un centro educativo, capaz de ofrecer un entorno de interacción constante entre estudiantes y arquitectura, donde este sea capaz de incluir aspectos de la arquitectura vernácula local para adaptarse a las necesidades de los mismos, generando espacios de saber integrados al entorno y que brinden a los estudiantes una educación de calidad, con todos los servicios necesarios y un diseño pensado desde su origen para potenciar al máximo su aprendizaje.This research work consists of the application of local vernacular architecture for the design of a public school of regular basic education in Iquitos, Loreto, which, aims to provide the region, with a public educational center in good conditions offering an integral education and an infrastructure capable of adapting to the needs of users and the specific environment of the site. The design criteria are determined by the need to generate an educational center capable of offering an environment of constant interaction between students and architecture, where the latter takes aspects of the local vernacular architecture to adapt to the needs of the students, generating spaces of integrated knowledge to the environment and providing students with quality education, with all the necessary services and a design thought from its origin to maximize their learning.
