http://doi.org/10.19083/tesis/684348Abstract
This article describes the subjective discomfort in merchant mariners during the COVID-19 pandemic on board. However, they have personal resources that have helped them cope with the various situations that have arisen during the pandemic. In addition, in a transversal way, the academic and disciplinary training of ENAMM has been a resilient factor who has helped merchant mariners to understand and face the new challenges that arise with the pandemic of COVID 19. In conclusion, the interviewees have been able to perceive discomfort in various areas of their lives during the situation of the virus. Although, this has not been a hindering factor because they have tools and personal resources that have allowed them to channel the discomfort through pleasurable activities.
