La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre las dimensiones personalidad y satisfacción laboral. La muestra fue 118 trabajadores en un rango de 18 a 45 años del área administrativa de empresas privadas del rubro de comercializadora minorista y mayorista, consumo masivo y retail en Lima Metropolitana durante la pandemia Covid-19. Del mismo modo para la obtención de resultados se utilizó el Cuestionario de Personalidad Big Five y el Cuestionario de Satisfacción Laboral S20/23. Los resultados demostraron que la dimensión de extraversión se relaciona positiva y significativamente con las dimensiones de satisfacción laboral, siendo la más alta la dimensión de satisfacción con el ambiente físico. Asimismo, la dimensión neuroticismo presentó relaciones negativas y significativas con la satisfacción laboral, hallándose la magnitud más alta con la dimensión de satisfacción con la motivación intrínseca del trabajo. Finalmente, la dimensión afabilidad, responsabilidad y apertura se correlacionaron positiva y significativa con tres dimensiones de la satisfacción laboral, aunque la relación fue baja.The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the personality dimensions and job satisfaction. The sample was 118 workers between 18 and 45 years old in the administrative area of private companies in the retail and wholesale market, mass consumption and retail in Metropolitan Lima during the Covid-19 pandemic. Similarly, the Big Five Personality Questionnaire and the S20/23 Job Satisfaction Questionnaire were used to obtain results. The results demonstrated that the dimension of extraversion is positively and significantly related to the dimensions of job satisfaction, the highest being the dimension of satisfaction with the physical environment. Likewise, the neuroticism dimension presented negative and significant relationships with job satisfaction, with the highest magnitude found with the dimension of satisfaction with intrinsic work motivation. Finally, the dimension agreeableness, responsibility and openness were positively and significantly correlated with three dimensions of job satisfaction, although the relationship was low.
