Propuesta de mejora de la disponibilidad de la máquina de envasado en una empresa de productos para el hogar aplicando SMED, dos pilares del TPM y Estudio de Tiempos

Abstract

Una empresa en Perú enfrenta problemas de disponibilidad en su máquina de envasado, lo que está afectando significativamente su eficiencia operativa. En esta investigación, se buscará identificar el problema principal que está causando esta situación. Para comprender mejor la raíz del problema, se llevará a cabo un análisis de los motivos y causas subyacentes. Este análisis se sintetiza en un árbol de problemas, una herramienta que permitirá visualizar claramente cómo se origina el problema y cuáles son sus consecuencias, incluyendo el impacto económico que está generando en la empresa. Además de identificar las causas, la investigación se centrará en explorar los mejores métodos de solución para abordar estas causas de manera efectiva. Para ello, se tomarán en cuenta las experiencias de expertos en ingeniería industrial que han enfrentado problemas similares en otras organizaciones. Estas experiencias servirán como base para proponer estrategias de mitigación que se adapten a la situación específica de la empresa seleccionada. Se identificará el indicador principal que guiará la investigación y se definirá cómo se implementarán las herramientas seleccionadas para mitigar el problema raíz, Entre las herramientas que se plantean para mitigar el problema se incluyen la Toma de Tiempos, el SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die), el Mantenimiento Planificado y el Mantenimiento autónomo. Estas herramientas son fundamentales en la ingeniería industrial y se han demostrado eficaces en la mejora de la eficiencia operativa

A company in Peru is facing availability problems in its packaging machine, which is significantly affecting its operational efficiency. In this research, we will seek to identify the main problem that is causing this situation. To better understand the root cause of the problem, an analysis of the underlying reasons and causes will be carried out. This analysis is synthesized in a problem tree, a tool that will allow us to clearly visualize how the problem originates and what its consequences are, including the economic impact it is having on the company. In addition to identifying the causes, the research will focus on exploring the best solution methods to effectively address these causes. To this end, the experiences of industrial engineering experts who have faced similar problems in other organizations will be taken into account. These experiences will serve as a basis for proposing mitigation strategies that are tailored to the specific situation of the selected company. The main indicator that will guide the research will be identified and it will be defined how the selected tools will be implemented to mitigate the root problem. The tools proposed to mitigate the problem include Time Taking, SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die), Planned Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance. These tools are fundamental in industrial engineering and have proven to be effective in improving operational efficiency.
