Description: Companies in the global marketplace will only be successful if they invest in information assets and manage them properly. This action requires a new strategic management model based on indicator networks, aligned with the business strategy, and rationally intertwined through the use of perspectives and the concept of cause and effect. It is much more than a simple results measurement system, since it allows a permanent clarification, dissemination and review of strategies, maintaining the alignment of functional, departmental and personal objectives to them. Purpose: The purpose of the course is for the student to develop skills that allow him to handle in the first instance, the fundamental principles of the development of the business strategy and its deployment to the functional areas, and then proceed to the construction of the BSC with the management indicators that allow the development and operationalization of the strategy. The course contributes to the development of the following skills: General Competence Management of information at level 2 and the Specific Competence ABET 2. The ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specific needs with consideration of public health, safety, and well-being, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental factors and economic Level 2.
