Market culture and its influence on the work performance of employees in Banking companies, Metropolitan Lima 2023Abstract
Actualmente, las compañías prestan mayor importancia al factor humano, por lo que se debe evaluar todo aquello que implica la obtención de buenos resultados en el desempeño laboral de los colaboradores. El objetivo de este estudio es explicar la cultura de mercado y su influencia en el desempeño laboral de los colaboradores en empresas bancarias, Lima Metropolitana 2023. Se utilizó un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal con un enfoque cuantitativo y con alcance explicativo (causa-efecto), a través de un método de encuestas con una muestra de 381 trabajadores que trabajan en las 4 principales empresas del sector banca, todas avaladas por dos jueces expertos. Para ello se elaboró una escala de preferencias tipo Likert con evidencia sólida de confiabilidad. Como resultado se encuentra que la cultura de mercado influye significativamente en el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores en empresas bancarias, Lima Metropolitana 2023, obteniendo R cuadrado de 0,348, es decir el 34.8% del desempeño laboral se explica a partir de la cultura de mercado. Dentro de las dimensiones de la cultura de mercado, la que mayor impacto tiene es la orientación al cliente cuyo resultado es de R cuadrado de 0.216 en el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores en empresas bancarias, Lima Metropolitana 2023, lo cual se entiende que 21.6% del desempeño laboral se explica a partir de la dimensión de la cultura de mercado, orientación al cliente. Por último, la influencia más baja se encuentra en la dimensión coordinación interfuncional con un resultado de R cuadrado de 0.177 en el desempeño laboral de los colaboradores en compañías bancarias en Lima Metropolitana 2023, lo cual se entiende que el 17.7% del desempeño laboral se explica a partir de la dimensión de la cultura de mercado, coordinación interfuncional.At present, organizations give more importance to the human factor, so it´s necessary to evaluate the influence that it has on the cultural elements, which imply obtaining good results in the work performance of employees. For this reason, the aim of this research is to identify the market culture and its influence on the work performance of employees in Banking companies, Metropolitan Lima 2023. A non-experimental and cross-sectional design was used with a quantitative approach and explanatory reach (cause-effect), through a survey method with a representative sample of 381 employees who work in the 4 main companies in banking sector, all approved by two expert judges. A Likert-type preference scale was constructed with solid evidence of reliability. As a result, it was discovered that market culture significantly influences the work performance of employees in the banking sector in Lima, 2023. Obtaining an R2 of 0.348, which means that 34.8% of work performance is explained by market culture. Within the dimensions of market culture, the one that has the greatest impact is customer orientation, which result is an R2 of 0.216 on the work performance of employees in the banking sector in Lima, 2023, which means that 21.6% of work performance is explained by the dimension of market culture named costumer orientation. Finally, the lowest influence is the interfunctional coordination with an R2 of 0.177 on the work performance of employees in the banking sector in Lima, 2023, which means that 17.7% of work performance is explained by the dimension of market culture named interfunctional coordination.
