RISTI - Revista Iberica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de InformacaoAbstract
The objective of this study was to develop a concept and model of tourism companies’ competitiveness applicable to the Peruvian context, starting from a theoretical reference and including the perspective of managers and leaders in the public and private sectors. Through the application of qualitative research methods (workshop and in-depth interviews) and a participatory action research approach, this study succeeded in integrating the perspectives of different actors into the theory. Furthermore, this study identified the factors that favor or hinder the peruvian tourism companies’ capacity to reach competitiveness and the actors that could promote it.Type
