The parental experience of parents working remotely during the quarantine in LimaDOI

La investigación tiene como objetivo explorar la experiencia de padres con niños de 3 a 5 años, que laboraron en la modalidad remota durante la cuarentena en Lima. Se realizó un estudio cualitativo, con diseño fenomenológico, se utilizó una guía de entrevista semiestructurada que abordó los tópicos de competencias parentales y dinámica familiar. Se incluyo un elemento especifico relacionado con la experiencia de padres, trabajando en modalidad remota (teletrabajo). La muestra estuvo conformada por 5 padres y 5 madres de familia. Se obtuvo como resultado que se apreció un fortalecimiento del vínculo y cuidado del padre al hijo. En la dinámica comunicacional se apreció una reestructuración de roles en las familias entre las actividades del menor, labores del hogar y teletrabajo, mencionando que se produjeron emociones fuertes.The objective of the research was to explore the experience of parents with children from 3 to 5 years old, who worked in the remote modality during the quarantine period in Lima. A qualitative study was conducted with a phenomenological design, using a semi-structured interview guide that addressed the topics of parental competencies and family dynamics. A specific element related to the experience of parents working remotely (teleworking) was included. The sample consisted of 5 fathers and 5 mothers. The results showed a strengthening of the bond and care of the father for the child. In the communicational dynamics a restructuring of roles was appreciated in the families between the activities of the child, housework and teleworking, mentioning that strong emotions were produced.
