This research aims to analyze the graphic elements in posters from the agrarian reform with the objective of understanding how they were used to communicate their message. In consequence, the hypothesis proposed that the posters had international influences which, when combined with national influences, made proposals capable of attracting attention and connect with the public. This investigation took a qualitative approach with a descriptive scope and a transversal nonexperimental design using a comparative chart and interviews with experts on the subject. The results obtained show how artistic movements influenced the colors, image, and typography of the posters, as well as their impact on the target audience. It can be concluded that, despite not reaching the original target audience, the posters developed for the agrarian reform used innovative graphic elements that reinforced an idea of novelty and change as well as enhancing their value in another area.
