The objective of this research was to know the relationship between psychological well-being and academic goals in university students from Metropolitan Lima. The sample was made up of 443 students, of which 53.5% are women, 45.6% are men and 0.9% preferred not to say, who are in the age range of 18 to 24 years. A correlational design was used, and the Ryff Psychological Well-being Scale instruments and the Academic Goals Evaluation Questionnaire (CEMA) were applied. The reliability analysis of the two instruments for each of the dimensions indicated acceptable values. As a result, significant non-probabilistic and intentional correlations were obtained between both study variables, so it was concluded that the greater the presence of psychological well-being, the lower the academic goals. The achievement goals dimension presented positive correlations with all the dimensions of the psychological well-being variable. Likewise, in the Environmental Domain dimension there was no presence of significant correlations except for the Achievement Goals dimension.
