dc.description.abstract | El objetivo general de la presente investigación fue identificar la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y el estrés laboral. Se plantea una investigación cuantitativa, empírica, de estrategia asociativa y diseño correlacional simple. La muestra con la que se trabajó fue de 105 oficiales de una instalación militar del VRAEM con edades entre 25 y 50 años, mujeres y hombres destacados desde distintas ciudades del Perú. Se utilizó un muestreo no probabilístico intencional. Los instrumentos aplicados fueron la Escala de estrés laboral de la OIT-OMS validada en el Perú por Suarez (2016) y la Escala de inteligencia emocional de Wong-Law (WLEIS) adaptada por Merino (2016) para la población peruana. En relación con los resultados se encontró que existe correlación entre inteligencia emocional y estrés laboral, siendo esta relación negativa y moderada. Es decir, a mayor inteligencia emocional menor es el estrés laboral. | |
dc.description.abstract | The general objective of this research was to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence and work stress. It is a quantitative, empirical, associative strategy and simple correlational design. The sample was made up of 105 officers from a military installation in the VRAEM between 25 and 50 years of age, women and men stationed in different cities of Peru. Non-probabilistic purposive sampling was used. The instruments applied were the ILO-WHO Job Stress Scale validated in Peru by Suarez (2016) and the Wong-Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS) adapted by Merino (2016) for the Peruvian population. In relation to the results, it was found that there is a correlation between emotional intelligence and work stress, being this relationship negative and moderate. That is, the higher the emotional intelligence, the lower the work stress. | |
