MEJORA DEL PROCESO DE MONTAJE DE ESTRUCTURAS METÁLICAS EN PROYECTOS MINEROS EN UNA AMBIENTE COVID” CASO: MONTAJE DE ESTRUCTURAS EN UN PROYECTO ELECTROMÉCÁNICO – ÁREA DE RELAVES

Abstract

La presente investigación considera una propuesta para la elaboración del plan de ejecución por parte de la Contratista, en la etapa de ejecución de proyectos de construcción desarrollados en el ámbito minero, referente a la disciplina de estructuras en un proyecto electromecánico del sur del país. La finalidad es utilizar herramientas de gestión que permitan analizar y controlar el proceso constructivo, con el objetivo de cumplir con los objetivos establecidos en el proyecto. Para el desarrollo de la presente investigación se identifican las principales características de los proyectos de construcción mineros. Asimismo, la propuesta presentada considera un flujograma y una descripción de los procesos conformantes, detallando herramientas de gestión utilizadas y recomendación establecidas en los estándares de gestión de proyectos durante la ejecución en un ambiente COVID. Con la aplicación de estas herramientas de gestión de proyectos en el presente caso de estudio, se consiguió terminar las actividades de estructuras según el cronograma establecido inicialmente, con la calidad indicada en el contrato y alcances del proyecto. Esto evitó un gasto para la contratista de $ 65,196 de un presupuesto de área asignado de $593,381.93, el cual representa 12 % de dicho presupuesto. La presente investigación considera que este resultado obtenido puede ser mejorado siguiendo las recomendaciones establecidas en los estándares de gestión de proyectos.

The present investigation considers a proposal for the preparation of the execution plan by the Contractor, in the execution stage of construction projects developed in the mining field, referring to the discipline of structures in an electromechanical project in the south of the country. The purpose is to use management tools that allow analyzing and controlling the construction process, with the aim of meeting the objectives established in the project. For the development of this research, the main characteristics of mining construction projects are identified. Likewise, the proposal presented considers a flowchart and a description of the compliant processes, detailing the management tools used and recommendations established in the project management standards during execution in a COVID environment. With the application of these project management tools in this case study, the structural activities were completed according to the initially established schedule, with the quality indicated in the contract and scope of the project. This avoided an expense for the contractor of $ 65,196 of an assigned area budget of $593,381.93, which represents 12 % of said budget. The present investigation considers that this result obtained can be improved by following the recommendations established in the project management standards.
