Escuela Superior de Artes Escénicas en Cusco

Abstract

Este proyecto surge con el propósito de diseñar una escuela de artes escénicas, que abarcará las disciplinas de música, teatro y danza, con la finalidad de convertirse en un centro educativo que fortalezca la formación artística y cultural de la juventud cusqueña, dado que se encuentran dispersas y desarrolladas en espacios precarios que no fomentan una difusión ni un aprendizaje óptimo. Esta propuesta por ser única en su creación aglutinará a la demanda existente para estos estudios.

La riqueza de la arquitectura inca contribuirá con el diseño, buscando una reinterpretación moderna de los elementos clásicos presentes en las edificaciones históricas cusqueñas. Se considera en el proyecto una “arquitectura como escenario” que establece un vínculo entre el artista, el espacio escénico, la audiencia y el espacio; asimismo se definirá la organización espacial, el empleo de materiales, la forma, la interrelación entre los espacios, color, textura y iluminación.

Este proyecto se propone adoptar un enfoque que genere en los usuarios una identidad y actitud favorable para el aprendizaje, enfocándose en la apreciación de la herencia cultural local, la adaptabilidad a las necesidades futuras, la perdurabilidad en el tiempo y la promoción de la arquitectura sostenible.

This project arises with the purpose of designing a performing arts school, which will cover the disciplines of music, theater and dance, in order to become an educational center that strengthens the artistic and cultural training of the youth of Cusco, since they are scattered and developed in precarious spaces that do not promote an optimal dissemination and learning. This proposal, being unique in its creation, will bring together the existing demand for these studies.

The richness of Inca architecture will contribute to the design, seeking a modern reinterpretation of the classical elements present in Cusco's historic buildings. The project considers an "architecture as a stage" that establishes a link between the artist, the scenic space, the audience and the space; it will also define the spatial organization, the use of materials, the form, the interrelation between spaces, color, texture and lighting.

This project proposes to adopt an approach that generates in the users an identity and a favorable attitude for learning, focusing on the appreciation of the local cultural heritage, adaptability to future needs, durability over time and the promotion of sustainable architecture.
