El presente estudio tuvo el objetivo de determinar la relación entre liderazgo en los equipos remotos y su desempeño laboral de instituciones educativas superiores en la Dirección de Recursos Humanos de Lima Metropolitana, en una muestra de 90 participantes, entre 27 supervisores y 63 colaboradores, pertenecientes a la Dirección de RRHH, siendo un estudio descriptivo, correlacional, se realizó la administración dos encuestas auto elaboradas y validadas por las investigadores para evaluar las variables de estudio, obteniendo como resultados que no existe relación entre liderazgo y desempeño laboral (X2=.308; p=.989); a su vez, se obtuvo un nivel medio (44,4%) en liderazgo y un nivel alto (40,7%) en desempeño laboral, concluyendo que existen otros factores o variables que influyen en los altos niveles de liderazgo y desempeño laboral en los participantes a la Dirección de RRHH.The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between leadership in remote teams and their job performance in higher educational institutions in the Human Resources Department of Metropolitan Lima, in a sample of 90 participants, including 27 supervisors and 63 collaborators, belonging to the HR vice presidency area, being a descriptive, correlational study, two self-prepared surveys were administered and validated by the researchers to evaluate the study variables, obtaining as results that there is no relationship between leadership and job performance (X2=.308 ;p=.989); In turn, a medium level (44.4%) was obtained in leadership and a high level (40.7%) in job performance, concluding that there are other factors or variables that influence high levels of leadership and job performance in participants from the HR area.
