El objetivo del presente estudio fue describir y comprender las características del vínculo fraterno en niños en tiempos del Covid-19. El estudio se desarrolló desde un marco epistemológico cualitativo de diseño fenomenológico hermenéutico y orientado en principios de la teoría psicoanalítica. Para poder recoger la información se entrevistó virtualmente a seis niños de 9 a 12 años y a sus padres en torno a las cualidades del vínculo fraterno. Los resultados indican que el vínculo fraterno se consolidó durante la pandemia, a pesar de los desencuentros y discusiones propios de la interacción. Se concluye que la rivalidad fraterna se presenta considerablemente en menos ocasiones que en la unión fraterna y en el fratricidio simbólico.The objective of the present study was to describe and comprehend the characteristics of sibling bond in children in times of Covid-19. The study was developed from a qualitative epistemological framework of hermeneutic and phenomenological oriented in principles of psychoanalytic perspective. In order to collect information, six children between the ages of 9 and 12 and their parents were interviewed virtually regarding the qualities of the sibling bond. The results indicate that the fraternal bond was consolidated during the pandemic, despite the disagreements and discussions typical of the interaction. It is concluded that fraternal rivalry occurs considerably less often than in fraternal union and symbolic fratricide.
