Estrategia de visualización para el área de educación sexual integral en el centro de salud San Atanacio de Pedregal

Abstract

El área de Consejería de salud sexual y reproductiva nace gracias al MINSA con la finalidad de garantizar y mejorar el acceso a la información sobre salud sexual. Su propósito es fortalecer la autonomía del paciente haciendo que tome decisiones de manera consciente e informada. Dentro del centro de salud San Atanacio de Pedregal (El Pedregal), la mencionada área, brinda orientación sobre Educación Sexual Integral (ESI) dirigido a niñas y adolescentes que deseen informarse sobre Planificación Familiar, autonomíacorpo ral, entre otros; a través de piezas editoriales, tales como volantes y dípticos. Sin embargo, tanto el centro de salud como el área en cuestión presentan incongruencias en su lenguaje visual y código adecuado para comunicarse fluidamente con el usuario al que se dirigen. El presente proyecto propone una estrategia de visualización del servicio ESI del centro de salud El Pedregal, con el fin de orientar al público adolescente entre 14 a 17 años hacia el área de Consejería, mediante la unificación del lenguaje visual y el diseño de gráfica ambiental, facilitando así el acceso a la información sobre salud sexual y reproductiva. Para lograrlo, se han planteado tres objetivos específicos:primero, crear un sistema de lenguaje visual básico comprendido en elección de tipografía, color, estilo ilustrativo, y soporte visual para el servicio ESI. Segundo,diseñar piezas de gráfica ambiental, tales como sticker de piso, banderola e intervenciones de pared dentro del centro que permitan dirigir al usuario en el espacio y obtener información que los oriente al servicio ESI. Finalmente, plantear un prototipo de 1 pieza gráfica ESI de diseño editorial impresa existente aplicando el nuevo sistema de lenguaje visual. Para alcanzar dichos objetivos, se utilizaron herramientas de ideación como lluvia de ideas, Jamboard de planteamiento del problema y mapa mental de investigación. Asimismo, se realizó investigación de campo, investigación de no participantes, entrevistas semiestructuradas y cuestionarios a través de Formularios de Google. Además, herramientas de diseño como FODA, palabras clave a través de hallazgos, Diagrama de Gantt, auditorías, el diseño de un cuadro de especificación de diseño de piezas, su ubicación y su funcionalidad; y la validación de las mismas a través de testeos. Todo ello sigue la metodología de trabajo de Doble Diamante.

The sexual and reproductive health counseling area was created thanks to the MINSA with the purpose of guaranteeing and improving access to information on sexual health. Within the San Atanacio de Pedregal health center, the aforementioned area provides guidance on Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) aimed at girls and adolescents who wish to learn about Family Planning, bodily autonomy, among others; through editorial pieces, such as flyers and diptychs. However, both the health center and the area in question present inconsistencies in their visual language and adequate code to communicate fluently with the user they are addressing. This project proposes a visualization strategy for the CSE service of the El Pedregal health center, in order to guide the adolescent public between 14 to 17 years old towards the Counseling area, through the unification of the visual language and the design of environmental graphics, thus facilitating access to information on sexual and reproductive health. To achieve this, three specific objectives have been set: first, create a basic visual language system consisting of the choice of typography, color, illustrative style, and visual support for the ESI service. Second, design pieces of environmental graphics, such as floor stickers, banners and wall interventions within the center that allow the user to be directed in the space and obtain information that guides them to the ESI service. Finally, propose a prototype of 1 ESI graphic piece of existing printed editorial design applying the new visual language system. To achieve these objectives, ideation tools such as brainstorming, problem statement Jam board and research mind map were used. Likewise, field research, non-participant research, semi-structured interviews and questionnaires were carried out through Google Forms. In addition, design tools such as SWOT, keywords through findings, Gantt Chart, audits, the design of a part design specification chart, its location and its functionality; and their validation through testing. All of this follows the Double Diamond work methodology.
