El presente trabajo surge a fin de diseñar un modelo aplicando herramientas Kaizen a una Pyme del sector de alimentos con el objetivo de reducir costos y mejorar los procesos de producción. Para ello, se identifico los procesos que impactan más en la producción y a meritan un ajuste de costos. Esto se logra aplicando Poka yoke para evitar errores, mantenimiento planificado y trabajo estandarizado. Con dicha implementación se reduce la pérdida de horas máquina y los costos de producción; ya que aumentan la producción y se evita sobre costos de materia prima.The purpose of this work is to design a model applying Kaizen tools to an SME in the food sector in order to reduce costs and improve production processes. To this end, the processes that have the greatest impact on production and deserve a cost adjustment were identified. This is achieved by applying Poka yoke to avoid errors, planned maintenance and standardized work. This implementation reduces the loss of machine hours and production costs by increasing production and avoiding raw material cost overruns.
