Collection of garments that adapt to the user's heightAbstract
El presente proyecto busca fomentar la inclusión en la industria de la moda peruana, en consecuencia, el objetivo principal es diseñar una colección de indumentaria femenina que se adapte a la altura del usuario. En los últimos años se ha visto como la inclusión y la diversidad se han ido incorporando en la industria de la moda. A pesar de que Perú es un país en el que gran parte de la población es de estatura baja, existe una escasez de marcas que ofrecen prendas petite. Con el propósito de tener mayor información sobre el problema antes mencionado, se realizó una encuesta a sesenta y dos mujeres peruanas, residentes en Lima. Para el desarrollo de dicha encuesta se utilizó la plataforma Formularios de Google. Los resultados evidencian las dificultades que los usuarios presentan en el proceso de compra al no encontrar prendas adecuadas para su estatura, y el impacto negativo que tiene este hecho en el cliente y en la marca de ropa. Además, permite tener mayor conocimiento sobre la frecuencia y la respuesta del usuario ante este problema. Por lo tanto, en este proyecto se desarrollaron técnicas que permiten otorgarle a la prenda la característica de adaptarse a usuarios con distintas estaturas.This project seeks to promote inclusion in the Peruvian fashion industry, consequently, the main objective is to design a collection of women's clothing that adapts to the height of the user. In recent years it has been seen how inclusion and diversity have been incorporated into the fashion industry. Although Peru is a country in which a large part of the population is short, there is a shortage of brands that offer petite clothing. In order to have more information about the problem mentioned above, a survey was conducted with sixty-two Peruvian women, residents in Lima. The Google Forms platform was used to develop this survey. The results show the difficulties that users have in the purchasing process when they cannot find clothing suitable for their height, and the negative impact that this fact has on the customer and the clothing brand. In addition, it allows us to have greater knowledge about the frequency and the user's response to this problem. Therefore, in this project, techniques were developed that allow the garment to adapt to users with different heights.
