Content marketing strategy on social networks to increase the digital royalties of a music group. Case: RÍO GroupAbstract
Los avances tecnológicos y la inserción del internet en nuestras vidas han obligado a las empresas de distinta índole a adaptarse a los nuevos estándares del mercado; por ejemplo, en las últimas décadas el sector musical ha experimentado diversas transformaciones vinculadas a la adquisición de regalías a través de canales digitales. Así, grupos como RIO, banda emblemática del rock peruano, tuvieron que enfrentar este proceso en su búsqueda de obtener regalías digitales con las nuevas plataformas de streaming; no obstante, debieron incorporar a los nativos digitales sin dejar de lado al público conocedor de la banda que recién empezaba a familiarizarse con estos nuevos medios; por ello, implementaron una estrategia de marketing de contenidos que les permitiese cumplir con estos objetivos de manera orgánica. El presente trabajo aborda el proceso por el que la banda decidió tomar medidas respecto a estas nuevas tecnologías y aprovechar su potencial.Technological advances and the insertion of the internet into our lives have forced companies of different kinds to adapt to new market standards; For example, in recent decades the music sector has experienced various transformations linked to the acquisition of royalties through digital channels. Thus, groups like RIO, an emblematic Peruvian rock band, had to face this process in their search to obtain digital royalties with the new streaming platforms; However, they had to incorporate digital natives without leaving aside the audience that knew the band and that was just beginning to become familiar with these new media; Therefore, they implemented a content marketing strategy that would allow them to meet these objectives organically. This work addresses the process by which the band decided to take measures regarding these new technologies and take advantage of their potential. It should be noted that a community manager carried out the analysis, the implementation of the strategy, the obtaining of the results obtained, the formulation of the conclusions and recommendations
