Víctimas y narrativas revictimizantes: un análisis sobre el enfoque de género en las notas digitales de El Comercio sobre feminicidios en el año 2020

Abstract

El tema de la presente tesis de investigación es el análisis descriptivo y explicativo sobre el enfoque de género en las noticias informativas sobre feminicidios publicadas en la plataforma web del Diario El Comercio durante el año 2020. La cobertura periodística de los medios de comunicación deberá ser analizada debido a la exposición constante de las víctimas de feminicidio, priorizando datos y la narración sobre su condición física tras el crimen detectado. En dicho aspecto, se debe señalar la importancia del enfoque de género en el periodismo digital, siendo un aspecto fundamental para evitar la revictimización. Al respecto, se debe mencionar que las notas sobre feminicidio son estructuradas mediante una rutina o práctica del profesional y la influencia del medio de comunicación. Asimismo, aquel mensaje emitido en torno a las víctimas de feminicidio es presentado a una audiencia heterogénea, quienes consumen un contenido caracterizado por la falta de enfoque de género y la revictimización de la mujer en condiciones de vulnerabilidad. El aporte de la investigación se centra en el análisis del contenido revictimizante presente en las notas sobre feminicidios del medio de comunicación señalado, así como la entrega de evidencias sobre el tratamiento informativo en torno a la víctima.

The objective of this research thesis is the descriptive and explanatory analysis of the gender perspective in the informative news about femicides that were published in the web platform of El Comercio newspaper during the year 2020. The journalistic cover of the media should be analyzed due to the constant exposure of femicide victims, prioritizing data and narration about their physical condition after the detected crime. In this thesis, it should be noted the importance of the gender perspective in digital journalism, being a fundamental aspect to avoid revictimization. It is important to mention that the articles about femicide are structured by media coverage of the victims of femicide. Likewise, the message transmitted about the victims of femicide is presented to a heterogeneous audience, who consume a content characterized by the lack of a gender perspective and the revictimization of women in conditions of vulnerability. The research contribution is focused on the analysis of the revictimizing content present in the articles on femicides of the mentioned media, as well as the delivery of evidence on the informative treatment of the victim.
