Seismic-resistant structural design according to the Peruvian RNE standard and comparison of the design of solid slab, beams and shear walls with American regulations ACI 318-19 of the multifamily building "Vida nueva Los Olivos" located in the district Los Olivos in LimaAbstract
Sabiendo que Estados Unidos es uno de los países con mayor avance en investigación de diseño sismorresistente de concreto armado, también se realiza el diseño de vigas y muros de corte mediante la normativa estadounidense ACI-318-19.Peru is a highly seismic country due to its geographical location, within the Pacific circle of fire, and Lima, its capital, has a greater incidence due to the seismic silence of more than 270 years that it presents. With this understood, the seismic structural design of a reinforced concrete building with 5 floors and 1 basement in the district of Los olivos is carried out, since in addition to the seismic factor, this district has a considerable housing deficit as it is located in Lima Norte, which has around 29% of the total present in Lima. The seismic analysis is carried out using the Peruvian seismic design standard E.030, and the complete design of the building is carried out using the Peruvian RNE standard. Knowing that the United States is one of the countries with the greatest progress in research into earthquake-resistant design of reinforced concrete, the design of beams, solid slabs and shear walls is also carried out using the American regulations ACI-318-19.
