Agricultural Labour Productivity, Education and Technology TransferAbstract
The present work focuses on demonstrating the importance of the development of technological capabilities in Peruvian agriculture with the aim of gaining labor productivity in this sector, considering how important the educational level is for this purpose. Finally, the impact of the technology transfer program on Peruvian agricultural labor productivity in an average department is corroborated when it is part of a group in which there is a greater number of departments with a basic educational level. Based on the results, a critique of the technology transfer program applied in Peru is generated, since it is not focused on technical assistance, but the latter is a social program treated independently of technology transfer, which does not occur in countries such as Chile or Mexico.
