El presente estudio tiene por objetivo examinar la evidencia de validez de estructura interna, validez convergente y consistencia interna del Cuestionario de Impacto Psicológico del Coronavirus en adultos de Lima Metropolitana de Sandín et al.; para ello, el tipo de investigación empleada fue instrumental, realizado en 528 adultos entre hombres y mujeres de 19 a 60 años. Se realizó el análisis de estructura interna para cada una de las 4 escalas: Uso de los Medios de Comunicación (UMC), Escalas de Miedos al Coronavirus (EMC), Escala de Distrés (ED) y Escala de Efectos Positivos ante las Adversidades (EEPA), encontrando que en la escala de UMC, ED y EEPA, se confirma es estructura unidimensional acorde con la estructura original; mientras que para la Escala de Miedo al Coronavirus (EMC) se propuso una nueva estructura de 3 factores, aspectos económicos, contagio y aislamiento.The purpose of this study is to examine the evidence of internal structure validity, convergent validity, and internal consistency of the Coronavirus Psychological Impact Questionnaire in adults in Metropolitan Lima by Sandín et al.; For this, the type of research used was instrumental, carried out in 528 adults between men and women from 19 to 60 years of age. The internal structure analysis was carried out for each of the 4 scales: Use of the Communication Media (UMC), Coronavirus Fear Scales (EMC), Distress Scale (ED) and Scale of Positive Effects in the Face of Adversities (EEPA). ), finding that in the scale of UMC, ED and EEPA, it is confirmed that it is a one-dimensional structure in agreement with the original structure; while for the Coronavirus Fear Scale (EMC) a new structure of 3 factors was proposed, economic aspects, contagion and isolation.
