Portafolio de la experiencia durante el internado médico en el Centro de Salud Materno Infantil

Abstract

El internado médico en nuestro país representa la época de consolidación del conocimiento y aplicación del mismo en un ambiente clínico estructurado; por ejemplo, un centro de salud enfocado en el primer nivel de atención o un centro médico especializado. El portafolio está conformado por treinta casos clínicos con aprendizajes significativos durante el internado médico en el Centro Materno Infantil “El Porvenir” y el Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo. Consiste en un breve relato médico, diagnóstico, complicaciones, tratamiento y las reflexiones de cada caso clínico.

Objetivo: describir y hacer un análisis crítico a propósito de los casos clínicos a que estuve expuesto como interno de medicina y que contribuyeron a mi formación con aprendizajes significativos.

Metodología: trabajo descriptivo y analítico de la experiencia clínica obtenida durante el internado médico.

Resultados: se describen treinta casos clínicos ocurridos en el Centro Materno Infantil “El Porvenir” y el Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo, con herramientas de análisis estadístico descriptivo. El portafolio enfoca su atención en el manejo oportuno correspondiente a la categorización del establecimiento de salud y un resumen de los aprendizajes más relevantes que se obtuvieron.

Conclusiones: el sistema de salud ofrece experiencias valiosas en el campo clínico durante el internado médico permitiendo consolidar y aplicar sus conocimientos en un establecimiento de salud. La reflexión es una herramienta de aprendizaje que complementa el juicio clínico durante el internado médico; asimismo, nos ayuda a identificar los puntos de mejora del sistema de salud peruano.

The medical internship in our country represents the moment of consolidation of knowledge and its application in a structured clinical environment; For example, a health center focused on primary care or a specialized medical center. Compilation of clinical cases is made up of thirty clinical cases with significant learning during the medical internship at the "El Porvenir" Maternal and Child Center and the Dos de Mayo National Hospital. It consists in medical report, diagnosis, complications, treatment and the reflections of each clinical case.

Objective: to describe and critically analyze the clinical cases to which i was exposed as an medical intern and that contributed to my training with significant learning.

Methodology: descriptive and analytical research of the clinical experience obtained during the medical internship.

Results: 30 clinical cases reported in the "El Porvenir" Maternal and Child Center and the Dos de Mayo National Hospital are described with descriptive statistical analysis tools. The compilation of clinical cases focuses its attention on the management corresponding to the categorization of the health facility and a summary of the most relevant lessons learned.

Conclusions: The Health System offers valuable experiences in the clinical field that during the medical internship will allow to consolidate and to apply our knowledge in a health facility. Reflection is a learning tool that complements clinical judgment during the medical internship; since it helps us to identify the points of improvement of the Peruvian health system.
