El presente trabajo busca determinar la relación entre el liderazgo democrático y el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores del rubro de pollerías del sector gastronómico de Lima Metropolitana, 2021. La perspectiva en este sector ha manifestado un crecimiento desde hace un tiempo a pesar de la pandemia del 2020. Por ello, se llevó a cabo un estudio cuantitativo, correlacional, no experimental y de corte transversal en una muestra de 354 colaboradores de pollerías en Lima Metropolitana. Asimismo, se analizó las variables y sus dimensiones, las cuales fueron evaluadas mediante resultados de normalidad y estadística no paramétrica. Los resultados demostraron que el liderazgo democrático y el desempeño laboral se vinculan positivamente. Los resultados de este estudio son significativos y fundamentales para el entendimiento de las organizaciones del rubro de pollerías; puesto que, proporcionará mayor comprensión de los jefes para impulsar positivamente el desempeño de sus colaboradores y así lograr mayores frutos dentro de las organizaciones.Democratic Leadership and job performance of workers in the poultry industry in the gastronomic sector of Metropolitan Lima, year 2021 The present work seeks to determine the relationship between democratic leadership and the job performance of workers in the poultry industry of the gastronomic sector of Metropolitan Lima, 2021. The perspective in this sector has shown growth for some time despite the coronavirus pandemic. 2020. For this reason, a quantitative, correlational, non-experimental and cross-sectional study was carried out in a sample of 354 collaborators of poultry shops in Metropolitan Lima. Likewise, the variables and their dimensions were analyzed, which were evaluated by means of normality results and non-parametric statistics. The results showed that democratic leadership and job performance are positively linked. The results of this study are significant and fundamental for the understanding of the organizations in the poultry industry; since, it will provide greater understanding of the bosses to positively boost the performance of their collaborators and thus achieve greater results within the organizations.
