Quality of professional life in regular elementary school teachers in public and private institutions who work remotelyAbstract
The objective of this research was to compare the professional quality of life (QPL) in regular basic education teachers who work remotely in public and private institutions. The study has a cross-sectional comparative design. The sample consisted of 166 teachers (115 women, 51 men, Mage = 38.8, SD = 11.62), to whom the Quality of Professional Life Scale was applied. The results showed that there are no differences when comparing the QPL in teachers of both types of institutions that work remotely; however, differences were found according to the level of education. It is concluded that, regardless of the type of institution in which the teacher works remotely, the QPL is presented in the same way. Likewise, the level of training can influence the way of facing workloads.
