Remodelación y Ampliación de centro regional de apoyo emocional (CRAE) en un centro comunitario de salud mental que fomente una cultura de salud mental en el Callao

Abstract

El presente proyecto consiste en una propuesta de diseño para el actual centro regional de apoyo emocional ubicado en el asentamiento humano Sarita Colonia, en la provincia de Callao, Perú. Se tiene como objetivo la remodelación y ampliación del centro, de manera que fomente la prevención e información de la salud mental, de forma accesible y cercana a la comunidad. Además, el diseño busca generar espacios de integración social mediante talleres que consideren las necesidades del paciente como el de la comunidad ayudando a la reinserción social del enfermo. Para lograr el objetico, se investigó y tomó en consideración la teoría de psicología ambiental que enfatiza la importancia del entorno físico la cual empleada de manera correcta ayuda positivamente al usuario, considerando factores como la funcionalidad, iluminación y área verde, que son directrices sobre los cuales se sustenta el presente proyecto. Entonces se desarrolla el análisis y diagnóstico de la zona, la prexistencia y los usuarios. En cuanto a las estrategias de diseño, incluye la organizativa, experiencia, espacial y formal, información que se presenta mediante diversos gráficos. Se desarrolla el proyecto de acuerdo a las normativas para centros comunitarios de salud mental. El resultado es una edificación que da la sensación de oasis amigable con la comunidad, interiormente funcional para el personal médico, así como confortable para los pacientes, con espacios que fomenta la participación activa del usuario mediante información de salud mental de manera didáctica en sus distintos ambientes, asimismo espacios verdes en los que conviven pacientes y comunidad.

This thesis consists of a design proposal for the current regional emotional support center located in the human settlement Sarita Colonia, in the province of Callao, Peru. The objective is to remodel and expand the center in order to promote prevention and mental health information in a way that is accessible and close to the community. In addition, the design seeks to generate spaces for social integration through workshops that consider the needs of the patient and the community, helping the social reintegration of the patient. To achieve the objective, we investigated and took into consideration the theory of environmental psychology that emphasizes the importance of the physical environment which, when used correctly, helps the user in a positive way, considering factors such as functionality, lighting and green areas, which are the guidelines on which this project is based. Then the analysis and diagnosis of the area, the preexistence and the users is developed. As for the design strategies, it includes the organizational, experiential, spatial and formal, information that is presented through various graphics. The project is developed according to the regulations for community mental health centers. The result is a building that gives the sensation of a friendly oasis with the community, internally functional for the medical staff, as well as comfortable for the patients, with spaces that encourage the active participation of the user through mental health information in a didactic way in its different environments, as well as green spaces in which patients and community coexist.
