Development of citizen participation against live broadcasts of collective actions on Facebook Live.Resumen
En el mundo, las movilizaciones ciudadanas están encontrando en las redes sociales un medio protegido para las expresiones de contrapoder. Plataformas como Facebook Live están siendo usadas para formar parte y descentralizar acciones colectivas contenciosas como las protestas. Con motivo de las marchas contra el gobierno de Manuel Merino en el 2020, el objetivo de este estudio fue analizar la interacción de la audiencia en las transmisiones en directo por Facebook Live durante estas manifestaciones. Esta investigación estudió la identidad colectiva generada en los espectadores, a través del análisis discursivo de las interacciones, identificó las emociones sociales presentes entre la audiencia y permitió dar luces del uso de Facebook Live para potenciar acciones colectivas. Se concluyó que el comportamiento de la audiencia se desarrolló en base a la identidad colectiva generada a partir de las transmisiones, motivadas por el tránsito de emociones sociales compartidas. Finalmente, se da a conocer cómo Facebook Live permitió apoyar las movilizaciones del 2020.In the world, citizen mobilizations are finding in social networks a protected medium for expressions of counter-power. Platforms like Facebook Live are being used to engage and decentralize contentious collective actions like protests. On the occasion of the marches against the government of Manuel Merino in 2020, the objective of this study was to analyze the interaction of the audience in live broadcasts on Facebook Live during these demonstrations. This research studied the collective identity generated in the viewers, through the discursive analysis of the interactions, identified the social emotions present among the audience and allowed to shed light on the use of Facebook Live to promote collective actions. It was concluded that the behavior of the audience was developed based on the collective identity generated from the broadcasts, motivated by the transit of shared social emotions. Finally, it is revealed how Facebook Live made it possible to support the 2020 mobilizations.
