Abstract

La lucha por la igualdad de la comunidad LGBTQ+ incluye verse representados en los medios audiovisuales con personajes que no los discriminen o estereotipen. El siguiente busca analizar, desde una perspectiva queer, la representación de los personajes homosexuales y trans femeninos de dos de las miniseries más sintonizadas de América TV: Al fondo hay sitio y De vuelta al barrio. Se analizarán las características y agencia de los personajes para demostrar los cambios en la representación de los personajes queer de ambas series.

The fight for equality of the LGBTQ+ community includes being represented in the audiovisual media with characters that do not discriminate or stereotype them. The following paper will analyze, from a queer perspective, the representation of homosexual and trans feminine characters in two of the most tuned-in miniseries on América TV: Al fondo hay sitio and De vuelta al barrio. The characteristics and agency of the characters will be analyzed to demonstrate the changes in the representation of the queer characters from both series.
