Female empowerment and its insertion in all areas of society is advancing; however, there is still gender differentiation regarding the active participation of women in television sports journalism in Peru. The female presence has always been seen as an object and subject of visual appeal in sports media, very rarely are women allowed to provide details or narrate what is socially called "only for names". Opportunities in the labor field and professional development are biased, since the television networks choose to continue with the consumption model. The existence of stereotypes and structural orders of society, according to sex, only reflect that the sports journalist (by profession or knowledgeable) will reach a point where she will not be able to develop her skills and abilities for the simple fact of being a woman,
