The general theme of the research is children's clothing for girls with a focus on the field of design, in which the influence of Disney is investigated as a playful reference point in children's clothing for girls. The research problem arises from the observation of the range of designs that exist in clothing for girls aged 8 to 10 years in metropolitan Lima, specifically in the area of Lima Norte, and the various links that arise with the children's playful environment, specifically with the world of Disney. The study is a grounded theory research, and therefore uses a qualitative methodology. An analysis of four semi-structured interviews with Peruvian children's designers was carried out, as well as an analysis of fifteen selected Disney films to identify the most representative visual elements. Subsequently, these data were worked into a visual analysis of women's children's clothing from brands or shops in shopping centres in North Lima for girls in the aforementioned age range in order to relate them to the information obtained previously. Consequently, the results correspond to the stated objectives by showing the description of current children's fashion for girls; the identification of the visual elements in Disney films; and the influence and existing links between these visual elements and the garments for girls in the literal or interpretative designs. Because of this, the direct or indirect relationships that Disney has with current women's children's fashion can be appreciated. Therefore, in this research we propose to know how the visual elements of Disney's world have influenced children's clothing for girls aged 8 to 10 years old in the last decade 2012-2022.es_PE
