Objective: To determine if there is an association between the level of physical activity and the prevalence of cervical pain in dental students of a private university during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Analytical cross-sectional study in 67 dental students from a university in Lima, Peru. A virtual survey was carried out in which part of the questions of the Nordic Questionnaire were included, to collect the variables related to musculoskeletal pain); the International Physical Activity Questionnaire short version (International Physical Activity. Questionnaire - IPAQ, for the variable level of physical activity, the Numerical Rating Scale - NRS) for pain intensity and an ad hoc questionnaire to collect the control variables. Results: The majority of students were women (68.7%) and had a median age of 22 years. 26.9% had a low and moderate level of physical activity. More than 50% had neck pain in the last 7 days. Although those with a vigorous physical activity level are more likely to have neck pain in the last 7 days, this relationship was not found to be statistically significant (OR=1.77, 95% CI 0.99 to 3.20, p=0.055). Conclusion: In conclusion, no association was found between the level of physical activity and neck pain in the last 7 days. On the other hand, it was found that there is an association between sex, age, back and shoulder pain with neck pain.es_PE
