Abstract

El presente proyecto de Tesis propone la implementación de una Escuela Nacional de Artes Escénicas para el Centro Histórico del Rímac en la ciudad de Lima. Se plantea unificar bajo la misma infraestructura a las escuelas nacionales de artes (ballet, teatro y música) que en la actualidad se encuentran totalmente desligadas una de la otra y con infraestructura inadecuada. El proyecto desarrolla un diseño arquitectónico acorde al entorno físico (centro histórico) a través de conceptos de permeabilidad arquitectónica, con la finalidad de crear así espacios aptos para el desarrollo de sus actividades sin alterar la morfología urbana.

Este documento cuenta con 8 capítulos en los que se desarrolla una investigación sobre la situación actual de las artes escénicas en Lima y las problemáticas existentes. Además, se revisa la tipología propuesta, el usuario, el programa arquitectónico, proyectos referenciales, el lugar propuesto y los criterios de elección para este. Para finalizar, explora sobre aspectos técnicos necesarios para el funcionamiento óptimo de la escuela y criterios de diseño que se tendrán al momento de realizar el trazado de la misma.

This thesis proposes the implementation of the National School for Performing Arts in the Historical Center of Rimac, in the city of Lima. This proposal advocates the unified institution of the main national performing art schools (ballet, theater and conservatory) that currently run separately and within poor infrastructure. This thesis document develops a design according to the physical environment (historical center) using architectural permeability concepts, with the purpose of projecting fit spaces for the development of its activities without altering the urban morphology.

This document has 8 chapters in which an investigation is developed on the current situation of the scenic arts in Lima and the existing problems. In addition, the proposed typology, the user, the architectural program, referential projects, the proposed place and the selection criteria for it are reviewed. Finally, it explores technical aspects necessary for the optimal functioning of the school and criteria that will be used for the design of it.
