El presente proyecto sustenta un Centro de Interpretación para el Señorío de Huarco ubicado en el distrito de Cerro Azul, Cañete, Lima, cuya finalidad es la puesta de valor del sitio arqueológico de Huarco, así como potenciar la identidad histórico-cultural y posibilidades turísticas del distrito. El sitio Arqueológico de la cultura Huarco pertenece al proyecto Qhapaq Ñan, el mismo que es impulsado por el Ministerio de Cultura. Este proyecto busca proteger los monumentos históricos situados en el Camino Inca a través de 6 países Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador y Perú. En el distrito de Cerro Azul se ha instalado una sede del proyecto Qhapaq Ñan para investigar, conservar y poner en valor el sitio arqueológico de Huarco. El Centro de Interpretación surge como una propuesta integradora y regeneradora de los aspectos constructivos, culturales y turísticos del distrito de Cerro Azul. Su propósito fundamental es generar un espacio que permita revalorar la cultura ancestral del poblado y proporcionar experiencias culturales que den sentido a una nueva visión turística del distrito.The following project presents the concept of an Interpretation Center for the “Huarco” Manor located in the district of Cerro Azul, Cañete, Lima; with it´s application being the increase of value for the archaeological site of “Huarco”, as well as the enhancement of the historical-cultural identity and tourist possibilities of the district. The archeological site of the “Huarco” culture is part of the “Qhapaq Ñan” project, which is promoted by the Ministry of Culture. This project seeks to protect any historical monuments located on the “Camino Inca” through 6 countries Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. A “Qhapaq Ñan” project headquarters has been installed in the district of “Cerro Azul” to investigate, store and raise the value of the archaeological site of Huarco. The Interpretation Center emerges as an integrative and regenerative proposal of the constructive, cultural and tourist aspects of the “Cerro Azul” district. Its fundamental purpose is to generate a space that allows the revaluation of the ancestral culture of the town and provides many cultural experiences that give a new meaning to the tourist vision of the district.
