As a result of this problem, sustainable fashion was born. In a few words, it aims to satisfy consumer needs and reduce the damage caused in the traditional process. In recent years, the demand for eco-friendly garments has increased considerably in Peru, in comparison to previous periods. However, there is a large percentage of people who are yet indifferent to the subject. This is why, this investigation, seeks to identify the perception of sustainable fashion consumption of the students of Fashion Management and Design from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) in 2020. The research has a qualitative and phenomenological approach, and it seeks to provide in depth the perceptions of the chosen sample.
