Diagnosis and Social Rehabilitation Center type A for young adults in PachacamacAbstract
Currently, there is a critical problem of overcrowding in prisons in Peru, since they are not sufficient to house all inmates. Which is causing these supposed inmates rehabilitated upon leaving the prisons, to commit crimes again causing them to re-enter these establishments. The lack of adequate space for their prompt rehabilitation is evident in the country, since crime statistics are on the rise and the buildings of existing prisons lack the resources and space for adequate rehabilitation. That is why the present research project is a Diagnosis and Social Rehabilitation Center type A for young adults in Pachacamac, which will be characterized by using architecture as a complementary rehabilitation tool in order to achieve improvement in rehabilitation and prompt social reintegration of the inmates.
