Este trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo documentar algunos conceptos teóricos vinculados a los roles de género en la educación secundaria del ámbito rural peruano y algunas experiencias de su implicancia. Para ello, se usó un diseño metodológico propio de un análisis documental con enfoque cualitativo. Los principales hallazgos apuntan a la permanencia de ciertos roles de género tradicionales aún presentes en mujeres y hombres. En las investigaciones revisadas, se evidencia que las primeras son las encargadas de realizar las tareas domésticas, mientras que los hombres son los encargados de llevar a cabo tareas intelectuales de forma exclusiva. A partir de este estudio, se sugiere seguir ahondando sobre los roles de género tradicionales aún presentes en la escuela rural de nivel secundaria y realizar indagaciones que recojan ejemplos y testimonios en los que estos se evidencian.The aimed of this research investigation had some theoretical concepts related to gender roles at high school in the Peruvians rural areas and some experiences of their implication. For this, a methodological design that was typical of a documentary analysis with a qualitative approach was used. The main findings were the permanence of some traditional gender roles that are still present in women and men. In the researches reviewed, it is clear that the woman are the ones in charge of carrying out the housework, while the men are the ones in charge of carrying out the intellectual tasks. From this study, it is suggested to continue delving into the traditional gender roles that are still present in rural secondary school and carry out inquiries that collect examples and testimonies in which these are evidenced.
