The classroom is a space in which the diversity of the students emerges. Educators are responsible for providing answers and attention to all those individuals, not only to students with learning difficulties but also to those with high abilities. Therefore, it is important that teachers receive knowledge about the training of children with high abilities in their professional training. In this sense, the main objective of this thesis is to describe the perceptions of a group of ten students of final year in the career of Education regarding their training in high capacities throughout their university career. To achieve the objective, we have worked with the phenomenological methodology, which allows us to carry out a descriptive analysis of the perceptions of the interviewed students. The results of this study pointed to a lack of knowledge on the subject of high abilities on the part of the students, as well as a lack of presentation and deepening of the subject during their teacher training in the Education career. As a consequence, we want to recommend a curricular enrichment to start a formation that is going to provide knowledge about talented children to the future teachers.
